Not only is Valcourt dedicated to creating well built, elegant, awe inspiring fireplaces, but they have gone the extra step to make sure they are protecting our environment as well. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has initiated a voluntary program for manufacturers of decorative wood burning fireplaces, encouraging them to produce clean wood-burning appliances, creating products that produce emissions of 5.1 g/kg or lower. The Antoinette qualifies for the second phase of this program with emission levels at 4.2 g/kg (roughly 70% cleaner than unqualified models)
