The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has initiated a voluntary program for manufacturers of decorative wood burning fireplaces, encouraging them to produce clean wood-burning appliances, creating products that produce emissions of 5.1 g/kg or lower. The Antoinette qualifies for the second phase of this program with emission levels at 4.2 g/kg (roughly 70% cleaner than unqualified models)
