The Hearthstone DVI-38 8850 Quinlan is a gas insert with a cast iron facade that is an excellent product for heating your home with either natural gas or liquid propane. This sleek, modern styled gas insert uses a variety of Hearthstone technologies to heat your mid-sized home (up to 1,700 square feet) efficiently.

Using direct-vent technology coupled with a sealed firebox, this gas burning insert reduces cold air drafts and increases efficiency when burning by drawing in cold air from outside the home, instead of using warm air from inside. To also increase the heat output of this beautiful gas insert, a HeatWave refractory is used to help direct more heat from the fire towards the viewing glass and out into your home, where it belongs. And in an effort to conserve gas, the ignition system this direct vent gas insert uses turns off the pilot light when the insert is no longer in operation. The ProFlame electronic ignition system also comes with a battery backup, so you can continue to rely on heat from this efficient gas insert even when the power goes out.

For extra convenience in operation, a remote control is included when you order a Hearthstone 8850 Quinlan. This powerful remote features a thermostat, 5-level flame control, 2 stage split burner, 5-speed fan control, and child lock-out.
