The Hearthstone 8160 Luno is a contemporary steel gas stove can heat a large area (up to 1,300 square feet) reliably, thanks to its advanced ignition technology. With an advanced Millivolt ignition system built into this direct vent gas stove, you can continue to enjoy the heat from this beautiful stove even if the power goes out in a powerful winter storm. Thanks to direct vent technology and a sealed firebox, this gas stove burns efficiently and reduces cold air drafts by drawing in air for combustion from outside the home instead of inside. A remote control is also included with your order of this gas burning stove, which gives you many options in how to operate your Hearthstone product. This direct vent gas stove also has the option to have wall or roof venting, which gives you greater freedom in installation.

Through the wall venting option
Vent pipe can be installed through an exterior wall with only a short rise of vertical pipe exposed. An inconspicuous terminus on the outside wall completes the installation. Vent pipe can be installed through an exterior wall with just the pipe elbow exposed. Special terminus on the outside wall required to provide necessary vertical rise.

Through the roof venting option
Stove can be installed in an interior location with the vent pipe terminating above the roof. Stove can also be installed through an existing fireplace or Class A chimney using special adapters; great option if replacing a wood stove.
