Heartland Model HL-Artisan Cast Iron Wood Cookstove

The Heartland Artisan Cook Stove offers cooking, hot water, and central heating all in one.  The Artisan makes a great addition to your kitchen or use it as a beautiful stand-alone piece in your log home or cottage.

The Artisan has two separate ovens, one for baking and roasting and one for simmering and warming, making it a unique stove.  There are vented ovens to enable you to prepare two different dishes without the worry of flavors mixing.  The Heartland Artisan has a distinct internal cast iron structure, locking in flavor without drying out the food by surrounding it in heat from all sides.  That means you will bake juicy meats browned to perfection on the outside.  Also, your vegetables will retain their natural color and texture, making the flavor really stand out.

The skillful engineering spent on the Heartland Artisan offers some of the lowest clearances you can get from any wood-fired cookstove, yet it still provides the cozy heat that only cooking on wood can provide.

• Extra large firebox to accommodate longer burn times
• Two insulated lids help maintain the heat on the hotplate when it is closed. When it is open heat can radiate into the room
• Solid cast iron hotplate. Going from a low simmer to a rolling boil is as easy as sliding the cookware
• Temperature gauge on the main oven door provides approximate heat levels
• The main oven, approximately 1.5 cu. ft. is ideal for cooking all types of food. Gentle, indirect heat radiates in from all sides
• A second oven below provides a second cooking area and operates at around half the temperature of the main oven
